Beijing Forum

Beijing Forum, co-hosted with Peking University since 2004, is an annual academic festival under the overarching theme of "The Harmony of Civilizations and Prosperity for All". The Beijing Forum strives to strengthen mutual respect and cooperation in the region and beyond by exploring regional values and identifying potential threats to Asian civilizations through academic exchange.
Nobel laureates such as Robert A. Mundell, Douglass C. North, and Amartya Kumar Sen have participated in the forum to share ideas and discoveries. Leading politicians including former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Vice-Chairman Zhu Tienong of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China have also contributed to discussions on current global issues.
